Maidalpur: The locality of maidalpur and nearby 10 Gram Panchayat are doing a Strike(bandh) for 2nd consecutive day for a 9 charter demands to be fulfilled. The local are blocked the Boriguma-Bargarh NH26 for the 2nd day which caused huge problems to the commuters. Their are demanding to make maidalpur a special block with the 9 gps who are observing the strike. They have other demands of to post more doctors at the Maidalpur PHC, teachers for the Highschool, Drinking water facilities, Electric problem, To declare as a draught effected area, BPL card issue and few more demands. They said the strike will remain there as long as the government give them a promise of a 9 demands.
